Student Resource Scheme
The purpose of the scheme is to provide a cost effective, value for money alternative to purchasing textbooks, resources, consumables and materials not included on the school’s book and stationery list, through reduced prices gained from the school’s bulk purchasing processes. These include:
reproduced class workbooks, worksheets and teacher-prepared material
student material used for classroom projects and investigations
art and craft supplies in excess of what is provided by school grants
stationery, writing and drawing equipment in excess of what is requested on book lists
consumables and cooking materials.
The Student resource scheme has been approved by the Parents and Citizens Association and is managed by the school. The scheme operates under the policy and guidelines of the Department of Education and Training FNM-PR-018: Student Resources Scheme and in accordance with section 51 of the Education (General Provisions) Act 2006.
Participation in the Student resource scheme is voluntary and you are under no obligation to join. The cost for participation in the scheme is $40.00. Fees are paid directly into your child’s classroom account to buy essential resources and materials used in his/her classroom.
